Lonnie Ray Hill, age 43, of Hazel Dell, IL passed away unexpectedly at 9:15 a.m. on Wednesday, March 12, 2025 at Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center, Mattoon, IL. He was born on October 22, 1981 in Jasper, IN, the son of David R. Hill and Wilma Jean "Jane" (Witt) Watters.
Survivors include his fiancé, Amanda Smith and their children, Liberty Jean Hill, Daniel James Ray Hill and Lily Lawhead, children, Alexis Hill, Zander Hill and Nathan Hill and their mother, Kelly Yarbrough, son, Devin Edward Ray Hill and his mother, Tiffany Hill; father, David R. Hill of Washington, IN; sister, Robin Blair of English, IN; brother, James "Jim" Witt (Heather) of Casey, IL; and nieces and nephews, Casey Blair, Clayton Clair, Michael Witt, Eli Witt and Evan Witt. He was preceded in death by his mother and grandparents.
Lonnie was a graduate of Casey-Westfield High School. He was a laborer and most recently a proud stay-at-home father. Lonnie loved spending time with his children. He enjoyed driving the law
