James "Jim" Stumborg, 92, of Oblong, IL, passed away peacefully on February 18, 2025, in the comfort of his home. He was born on April 8, 1932, in Effingham, IL, to Edwin and Esther Susan (Long) Stumborg, whom he preceded in death. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Jack Stumborg, and his sisters, Joyce Purdy and Nelda Manhart.
On February 2, 1985, Jim married Sandra Delp, celebrating 40 years of loving companionship. He is survived by his devoted wife, Sandra; his children, Carol & Kurt Schein and Mark & Cheryl Stumborg; by his step-children, Sherry & Ron Hilderbrand, Kim & Bob Green, Lang & Mellissa Hawes; by his grandchildren, Jessica & Matt Mette, Joshua & Angela Stumborg, Anthony & Whitney Stumborg, Michelle & Ryan Hall, Robert & Hallie Lardi, Brock & Kristi Green, Rachael & Johnny Fulk, Shasta Hawes, Kori & Stephen Fitzgerald, Zach Hawes, Cameron Hawes and Cadence R
