Floyd "Lynn" Stout, 61, of Hutsonville, IL, passed away unexpectedly at his home on February 7, 2025. Born on June 19, 1963, in Robinson, IL, Lynn spent his youth roaming the backroads of Crawford County and even spent a brief stint in Mississippi. His upbringing gave him a deep appreciation for the land, an adventurous spirit, and a lifelong connection to nature.
Lynn wasn't a man defined by a career but by a collection of experiences. Over the years, he wore many hats-working in the oil fields, lending a hand on local farms, and spending time at the elevator. He even tried his luck working in Chicago with a neighbor for a while. His life was a series of odd jobs and new experiences, each one leaving a story to tell-and Lynn always had a story to tell! He could often be found swapping tales at the gas station or coffee shop, holding court with his friends in his shed or on the front porch, and sipping on a Coke and eating fresh watermelon with his buddies, Herb and Marty.
