William Franklin "Bill" Cown Sr., age 75, of Casey, IL passed away at 12:12 p.m. on Thursday, August 15, 2024 at Union Hospital, Terre Haute, IN. He was born November 7, 1948 in Marshall, IL the son of James Wesley Cown and Dorothy Margaret (Franklin) Cown. On April 8, 1967 he married Mary Louise Wilson in Marshall, IL. They shared 57 years of marriage.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Cown of Casey, IL; children, Rosella Duitsman of Westfield, IL; Mary Buchanan (Charles) of Westfield, IL; William Cown, Jr. (Paige) of Casey, IL and Janet Brandenburg (Donnie) of Casey, IL; sisters, Viola Hunter of Paris, IL; Betty Nasser (Ed) of Terre Haute, IN and Dorothy Cown of IL; grandchildren, Hunter Duitsman (Alma), William Black, Joshua Black, Kylee Cown (Taylor), William Cown III, Eyston Kusterman, Edridge Kusterman, Coltin Brandenburg (Hannah), Johnny Noggle and Michelle Battaglia (Antonio); great grandchildren, Araelynn Sharp, Gracie Sharp, William Sharp, Anthony Battaglia and Paisley Cown,
