Marilyn Louise "Mary Lou" Hawkins, age 87, of Martinsville, IL formerly of Hartford City, IN entered eternal rest at 3:38 a.m. on Saturday, August 10, 2024 surrounded by family at her daughters home. She was born March 15, 1937 in Fairmount, IN; the daughter of David Jones and Juanita Shattuck Jones. On October 28, 1956 she married Randie J. Hawkins Sr. in Marion, IN; they shared sixty-three years of marriage before his passing on July 26, 2020.
Survivors include her children, Larry Hawkins Sr. (Tona) of Hartford City, IN and Connie Beeman-Hartman (Brett) of Martinsville, IL; grandchildren, Larry Hawkins Jr, Jennifer Eberly, Stephen McNutt, Gene McNutt Jr., Andrew McNutt, Anthony Hawkins, Michael Beeman (Jessica), Andrew Beeman (Cayleigh), Joshua Beeman (Kimberly), and Joseph Beeman (Devan); forty-four great grandchildren; brother, Charlie Jones (Barb) of FL; sisters, Helen Ruff (Frank) of FL and Viola Shaffer of TX; several nieces and nephews; and her church family and friends.
