The 70-year life journey of Daryl Fisher came to a sudden yet serene close on the green fairways of the Oak Glen Golf Course outside his beloved Robinson, IL, on July 25, 2024. Born in Prairie City, OR, on January 9, 1954, Daryl's life was a canvas of varied experiences. A graduate of Hayfork High School in 1972, he served in the Air National Guard, a reflection of his dedication to both country and family. Much of his life was spent in Spokane, WA, where he raised his daughters and coached their ball teams, instilling in them the same zest for life he lived every day.
His career spanned several industries - he worked in a sawmill, delivered propane and meat, and eventually managed a mobile medical unit that annually made its way to Robinson, IL. Mary Jane Parker, who saw how this kind soul cared and advocated for his staff, decided to introduce him to her friend, Terry.
