Carol Kay (Williams) Boyer, age 81, of Casey, IL went to be with her Lord and Savior at 9:35 a.m. on Sunday, June 30, 2024. How fitting that she would enter eternal life on the Lord's Day and at the very time church services started her entire life! She was surrounded by her family and closest friends at Willowbrook Memory Care in Marshall, IL where their kind and compassionate staff went above and beyond to make sure she was loved and spoiled.
She was born on May 2, 1943 on top of Pony Mountain to Bryan Daniel Williams and Gladys Leta (Chapman) Williams. In her younger years, she helped her mother run the Moonshine Store where they also resided in the upstairs. She graduated from Casey High School and then attended Indiana State University where she graduated as a Registered Nurse. Her career as an RN spanned over 50 years including her years with Lincolnland Hospice and Lincolnland Visiting Nurses in Casey, IL of which she was the founder.
