Marilyn Brown, age 84, of Casey, IL passed away at 5:15 a.m. on Saturday, June 22, 2024 at Heartland Nursing Center in Casey, IL. She was born on September 21, 1939 in Casey, IL the daughter of Howard Woodrow Sharp and Helen Janet (McCrory) Sharp. On December 31, 1959 she married Robert L. "Bob" Brown in Martinsville, IL. He passed away on November 4, 2006.
Marilyn is survived by her children, Sherri Scheurich of Boca Raton, FL and John Brown (Amy) of Casey, IL; grandchildren, Chelsey Parker, Tyler Brown, Grant Scheurich, Greta Scheurich, Ellie Brown and Owen Brown; great grandchildren, Mason Parker and Jonah Parker; nephews and nieces and her Church family. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Bob Brown; brother, James Howard Sharp and infant nephew, James H. Sharp, Jr.
Marilyn was a 1957 graduate of Casey High School. She retired as an operator from Alltel Telephone Company. Marilyn was a faithful member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Casey, IL where she participated in
